I particularly came here for their bun bo Hue. The look: it's ok, until I put the sate( chili oil paste) in and put some herbs in the look was improved significant. The taste: broth is decent, wish they could do a bit more spicy and fishy( from the shrimp paste). The bowl is big for a girl so I can't finish it. It has enough meat like in Vietnam( not a lot like other restaurants honestly). The pork leg cooked perfectly, the skin was still crunchy. However they didn't use the correct crab meat ball for the soup, it's a bland straight pork meat ball only. They don't have the Vietnamese mint ( rau ram) either which actually surprised me since this herb can be found easily. Overall I would give it 7/10 We also ordered their shrimp and pork dumplings which are good. Their eggrolls were extremely good, the skin was super crispy. However, the dipping fish sauce suck for both dishes, too salty and not using quality fish sauce apparently. The last item we ordered was Vietnamese coffee. It's perfect on point. I loved the fact that they gave us a pocket of ice separately so we can add as much ice as we want for our coffee. Last but not least, the staff was very friendly, she actually gave good recommendations for good food ( not for sale purposes). Definitely will come back here if we visit Vancouver again

This place has been here since 1996. It very well known for its Vietnamese beef sets. Bò 3 món is three types of grilled beef rolls (18 rolls-Satay beef, beef wrapped in la lot leaves, and beef wrapped in caul fat. Bò 4 món is Rare beef in vinegar hot pot and 3 types of beef rolls. Finally the massive Bò 7 món is a feast of beef prepared in 7 different ways (Includes slices of rare beef in a vinegar hot pot, 3 types of grilled beef rolls, beef salad, beef congee, and a beef ball) They are served with a plate of fresh greens, vermicelli, rice paper, and thet special anchovy dipping sauce **Please inform servers of any PEANUT allergies** It is absolutely delicious here and you’re getting a lot of value. For the ones who don’t venture further than a bowl of pho, I highly recommend you try their beef sets. You’re gonna want to bring a friend or a group. You basically dip your rice paper in water and spread it out on to your plate. Then put all your goodies in and wrap it like a burrito or roll. Dip and eat oh man!

Very spacious restaurant - they also leave an empty table in between each group, meeting the social distancing criteria. Max 4 per table. Not the newest restaurant in town; seatings were worn down and mended together with green duck tape or something like that. Staff all wore masks and had sanitizing supplies at the front entrance table, though our table was not completely spotless after self inspection. I got #2 Pho dac biet, the choice for someone who likes a bit of everything (or if you're indecisive). I don't remember eating any tripe and the tendons tasted really bad (unsure why). Otherwise, rare beef, beef balls, and flank were great and generous portion of noodles. But the star of the night, was really the fried spring rolls. The way they fry it, it's indescribable, and I loved it. Overall, spring rolls a winner, rest not too shabby, but not sure if I would go out of my way to come here. Seems relatively safe to come during pandemic (i guess now we must put in our covid19 precaution thoughts).
