This park gives me sus vibes. It's on a busy street and it gets pretty scary at night. What I really don't like about slocan park is that parking is terrible. It's horrifying. The only decent thing about it is that there's a SkyTrain station, and there are 2 fields.
We circled the park many times and only found one when we came back 3 hours later at 9pm. We almost got hit by an aggressive driver, and the most creepy part: the washroom had windows that were very transparent. The girls washroom had a window that people outside could peer in. It's very unsafe and especially at night, it's dangerous for girls.

Anyways the fields are extensive but are quite beaten up from Sunday football in the rain week after week. Nice to have a playground and a tennis court in site. The fields are also On Sight but that’s because they’re sometimes so chewed up I want to fight them. Read moreThere's lots of grass space and features for kids, there's a fountain, and the bathrooms are fine, which for city bathrooms means they're excellent. Note for sporty types, the fields can be uneven, mind your ankles.
