Reference letters per staff : Minh / Alvarez.
Dear staples admin Over the past 2 years, there have been a number of occassions requiring printing of both plain b&w or full color, including several odd-ball jobs for company events/ review of construction projects requiring D size dwg’s, personal needs with CRA and a few pages from books needed for referencing. Common threads between all these projects : all were important to get right, on time with high quality.
It gives me pleasure to complete this survey for both Alvarez and Minh for at least 5 reasons : They both delivered GREAT WORK, On time or EARLY EXCELLENT QUALITY GREAT VALUE True PROfessionalism.
Both are patient, have pleasant personalities any store Manager would be proud to know clients had been given benefit of great service from- as this is why customers like me - automatically return to Staples next time we need these services and products.
Insofar as potentially “winning” a prize by submitting a review, kindly accept my suggestion - Each time these 2 men assisted me - resulted in my version of “prize-winning”, to have peace of mind and confidence my requirements would be delivered. If anyone deserves prizes : these 2 get my vote for excellent customer service / ATTITUDES of True-Pro’s. My final gratitude and Kudos is extended to whoever hired these 2 men. Yours, very truly. Needed large copies done. They quoted me one price on the phone, with no mention of restrictions, so I went in - where the price went up from $4 per copy to +$20. They say they can only use regular paper for architectural drawings and mine weren't architectural enough. They said they'd make an exception for me this time, but midway through they said, "Actually, these ARE architectural drawings, we can do this just fine." Weird but ok?
They did the copies, I went to pick them up and asked for the originals. They said they were in the roll with the copies. When I got home, they were not there, some of my copies were missing, and half the copies were in colour (I'd asked for black and white).
I called, they do not have an answering service when they are closed, very annoying. I called while they were open and made sure it was ok for my partner to pick them up. When he arrived, well, at first they ignored him but when they finally talked they said they had no idea where the originals could be. He waited for them to call another staff member who was on break to finally figure it out.
They did a terrible job refolding my originals and I never did get all the copies I'd ordered.
I've never had a bad experience like this at a Staples before. Staples, maybe it's time to pay your staff more and try to attract some staff who don't act like...
Read moreI visited during an incredibly busy afternoon. Nearly every area of the shop was packed and I had an emergency printing ask of about 100+ pages to do in colour. I wanted to give a big shoutout to the employee DIVYA. She was triaging three customers at a time while keeping very composed and friendly. Super efficient.
This would have been a five star review, however I was rejected from having my prints completed by another employee who was in a red shirt. She stated that I would not be able to get my prints done until a day or more and advised that they are super busy and taking care of too many orders. I decided not to do "special paper" and opted for "regular" with colour instead (probably due to how busy it was) she did not catch what I said maybe - She continued to reiterate the same details - "too busy" "we're closing soon"(it was 3:30PM and they close at 5:00PM) - Eventually DIVYA walked by and they communicated with each other quickly and I was given the OK to proceed.
From my understanding, Divya would have even helped me with the special paper printing. The other employee was quick to assume I had a complex printing ask perhaps. Much appreciated and thank you for tending to so many clients at once and doing a stellar job Divya! You saved my business meeting...
