Such a comfortable environment from the very beginning from booking with Sophia, right to the end with post treatment follow up. Sophia made booking easy and replied to my inquiry so promptly. Giordana’s bedside manner is very calming. Her explanation about services and what they involve was extremely thorough. The fact that I was given so many options without feeling pushed to do any of them is also another great pro to this experience. I had a IPL which I have had in the past and I was impressed with how immediate the results already showed when the treatment was over. The other staff members also showed interest in seeing how my results turned out and it really showed how much they care and work as a team! Freedom Medi spa is a gem that curates individualized plans for each clients special needs without pushing them to make bank breaking decisions. As a POC, it’s hard to find a Medi spa that is well rounded with the knowledge and experience to offer sound recommendations to people of my skin colour, however at freedom I can safely say you’ll find that here. I didn’t know there was a special laser machine that worked better on POC to prevent hyperpigmentation during treatment until I stumbled on their page. I go to Freedom Med Spa because they sell and use the AlumierMD product line which has been my favourite skin care product line for many years. They are free of parabens, sulfates and dyes and honestly they just work beautiful on my aging skin.

This past year I had some medical issues that prevented me from having my regular treatments. So it was at least 10 months since my last facial. Candice recommend a “glow facial” because we both felt that I needed a deep exfoliation and this would help to brighten and help even out my skin tone. Candice customized the strength of the peel to ensure it wasn’t to harsh because of my medical history. The results were beautiful. It left my skin clean, exfoliated, plumped and glowing.
