Walked in to peruse some lovely looking acrylic and oil on canvas paintings. I was actually in the mood to buy something in the $200 -300 price range, and when I enquired about the prices, a heavily made up middle aged woman still touching up her make up, stated the prices were on top of the art. To the contrary , most of the prices were missing from the paintings I liked and I pointed it out to her now turned back. She said, "well you are not going to like all of them and need to know all of the prices!" I was incredulous. Here was the art of over 30 different artists that could use the money, and this woman told me what I should be thinking. I walked out. I am going to talk to the owner and let them know why the art is not selling at Hi Art Gallery. I hope the recession puts them out...
Read moreSuper large selection of urban art. Pieces are very condo interior oriented, nevertheless you can provide them with a picture you want "in oil" and voila ...it comes to life for you. Service like that should be much more comon but that's the only place I know that does that. Prices are quite good and on top of that there's so many stacks of paintings on sale so you can definitely find a good looking large piece for just above $100! That's pretty unbelievable.
