We drove from Markham to try out this restaurant and we were excited to try something new. The first lady who saw us just stared at us, no greeting and walked away. We werent sure if it was sit down or order first and no one cared to ask us if they can help. We figured out we had to order at the counter first, the lady that was taking our order was even ruder than the first one and didn’t respond to our questions initially and then when she did talked to us like we were children… she was so rude we walked out and decided to try another restaurant. I have been visiting Pepe Pizza for many years now. The food is always top-notch, like homemade comfort with a gourmet touch. The service is excellent, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. The variety of food is good , offering something for everyone, but their famous pizza truly stands out—it’s well-known and loved across the GTA. There is a lot of choice of pizzerias, but not every one matches your taste. Sometimes you are lucky and accidentally there is something unusually tasty where you did not expect it. This is what happened today to Pepe pizza. Thin, crunchy and delicious. This is what the ideal Italian pizza should be, not like American variation. Do you like olives? You will generously add olives, as well as other ingredients, which will give an unusual and trully European flavor. The first test done, I will definitely come in a couple of days.
