So many things wrong with this place during today's visit:
Final thoughts on the pizza situation - the "Manager" Jessica took no accountability or ownership. The only thing she tried to do was divert responsibility. Basically nothing was their fault initially and only tried to avoid having to own or execute any tasks related to providing a solution to paying customers. Other male staff wasn't much help neither, but at least he was apologetic. The "Manager" wasn't at all. There were more details about how bad this whole situation was, but there were other things that were bad even before the pizza thing happened.
Not sure if the staff is under trained or they are under orders from owners to skimp on things to maintain margins...whatever the case, the experience today was horrible.
Will say previous experiences at this place were never really good but was never so bad that we would not consider going back...but today was terrible and will not...

I would like to start off by saying, I wouldn't even be leaving a review had it not been for my terrible experience with the supposed managers. I came for a birthday party, which was much too rushed. I wouldn't recommend booking here but instead maybe visiting for an hour or so. When we walked in we were told we MUST leave our belongings in the cubby area at the entrance. I was not advised at that time about any of the signage insinuating we are responsible for our own belongings, nor did we sign a waiver of any sort but some how, the staff believes I should have been more responsible than to have allowed someone to have stolen my daughters brand new winter boots. When I went back later that day (as soon as I realized neither my husband or I had the boots) I had all the information I thought would be helpful in discovering who stole my daughter's boots. I explained there were another set of boots left behind that we similar and the same size as my daughter's but in a much rougher state. I explained there as a very good chance these were the people who stole my daughter's boots. Not only did they not do anything about the situation, but they called me shortly after to tell me that my boots were returned. They were not, it was still in fact the boots that were left behind. I went in hopingto get my boots back (that were not my boots) the staff made it very clear that they did not care. They repeated multiple times that it was indicated in the waiver I signed (I did not sign a waiver that day) that I was responsible. It does not say that anywhere on the waiver. They don't want to pay me for my new boots, they don't want to find out who did it either, in the event it may even be someone I recognize. Nothing is being done with their arms crossed and a smug look on their face. All per the instruction of the owner. They may Aswell have just told me that they only wanted money and to get out.
Response to owner: your staff did not point da any of the signage or give me any alternative options but told me I MUST leave my shoes there.
No they are not sorry, they were smiling and laughing the entire time .
How would you know of it was intentional or not if no one even bothered to look for the footage?
Yes this has happened before, I saw the book of notes of missing items and it's a disgrace. You should be more careful with people's personal belongings.
Here's a tip, why don't you close off the cubby area and issue tickets to people and your staff can actually do something? Its unfortunate a client needs to tell you this and not your...
Read moreI have been to Playious twice in the past month. First time was great, went for my son's classmates birthday. They had an amazing time. Second time we were there my my nephew birthday, was looking forward to it since we had such a great time the first visit. Well the party itself was great kids had fun. The guy working the hand was awesome, saw me play a game and when I lost horribly came over and actually showed me how to play. HOWEVER, when it was time to leave we made our way to the designated area where you are to leave your shoes and jackets (I tried taking my jacket inside with me and was told I'm not allowed) anyways, I got my kids shoes and jackets on and went to grab my jacket which had been moved and was now thrown on top the shelf. That side when I went to grab my shoes they were not in the little cubby I had left them and someone elses shoes and jacket were now there. I looked around the entire area to see if thirty had just been moved by accident. Well they were no where to be found. Went to the front and told the reception people my shoes were missing they sent someone who came and looked again. Once we determined again that they were not there the employee said for me to leave my name and number and they would call when and if they found it. I asked her how I was supposed to go home without shoes and she shrugged her shoulders. She than sent the 'manager' named CARMELA out to help. She looked AGAIN with no luck. I started getting upset I mean I get they 'are not responsible' for lost or stolen items but if your not looking to be responsible don't demand people to leave their belongings unattended. At the end of the day the staff made myself and my in laws who were with me very uncomfortable and the Manager Carmela had the absolute worse customer service I have ever seen and should not be a manager much less working in this field. She was extremely rude and disrespectful which in turn made the situation worse. During the 2 1/2 hours we were there just dealing with this (not including the party time) she told me to 'sit down and look pretty' she accused me of setting it up and said 'I had a family member take it so I could get money' and the amount of time she laughed in my face. She told my mother in law to 'shut up' After awhile another manager came out who was apparently done her shift and was just hanging around. Her name was Maya she did her best to work with us and come to an agreement that would make me feel better. If she had been the one to deal with this fun the get go, it wouldn't have taken 2 1/2...
