I highly encourage anyone who visits this store to first look for prices at other stores before making a purchase. Their oranges stickers with a 50% off label is pretty much a scam. For example, they sell bubble wand bottles, priced at $1 and 50% off. So you get a wand for 50 cents. Looks like a good deal right? NO. They got the Walmart 4 for a dollar bundle, split them, and then sold them for 50 cents each. Then they used a black marker to cross out the Walmart logo. Seriously, some of the pots are from dollamara being sold at a higher price even with their discount. In my opinion, this place is a scam, a store made to make you believe you got a good deal when in reality, you did not.

Great stuff if you know where to find it. There’s plenty of toys, furniture, and water coolers to keep you busy looking. It felt like I was at the casino. This is a returns/consignment store where the big boys sell damaged goods, returns, and nearly expired food. There’s 80% off some great items that’d go for a firm buck fifty elsewhere. My expired cereal and Ethernet cable have all been great. Only faulty product I’ve got is a TV antenna but I’m blaming it on the manufacturer.

I've been going to this store for about a year now. I would say 75% of the items aren't interesting and mostly junk. They are resellers of returns, damaged goods or bankruptcies. So a Lego box may be dented, but will be 50%-70% off another retail (all contents are inside). Our son doesn't care about the box, so if I can get a complete Lego set for $15 instead of $40+ dollars at ToysRUs, I'm ahead. Recently, they sold brand new Roots clothing and leather goods from the USA Roots stores that closed down - Treasure Hunt listed 50% off of Roots retail price with an extra 10% off special stamp coupon. So the exact same "small Banff bag" in Tribe leather that was listed on roots.com was more than 1/2 off at this store. Same with with a Roots leather bomber made in Canada at the Toronto Roots factory. We also purchased a Step 2 Paw Patrol Water Table that retails for $60 for only $19. The kids loved it and played with it all summer. The only issue was the box was ripped, but all the parts were new and all the content was inside (no damage).

The good things go fast - you need to visit once a week.

The bad - goods will be dusty, sometimes damaged, sometimes missing things and you can't really buy gifts here to give to people because of the damaged boxes. There is no returns except for electronics. Just look for the stuff that you can work with instead of paying full retail price. What they get is random - some weeks are good, some weeks aren't so good. The store is no frills - not the cleanest or nicest, but it is clearly organized.

This store has saved us a lot of money on school supplies, clothing and toys. I literally stopped going to ToysRUs and Walmart. They are resellers of their returned goods and liquidations. I'm fine with that. Because I was crying when I saw a Large Roots Banff Bag that I paid $400 (even at 40% off at Roots) was $275 here (taxes in) - brand new with tags and dust bag (Made in Toronto). I was kicking myself for spending more on the exact same bag two years ago.

Enjoy the store. It isn't for everyone, but if you want to stretch a dollar for your family, this is where to go. My kids could care less if a Lego box was dented or their Step 2 water table had a hole in the packaging box. As long as the inside content is brand new, you...

I was just in the treasure hunt store in Woodbridge. I am a regular shopper there just so you know. I went in and realized shortly afterwards that I had to use the facilities, desperately. When I asked I was told that there were no public washrooms. I asked a staff member “don’t you use a washroom here?” She explained that they no longer have a public washroom and only a staff washroom. Don’t remember her words verbatim but she was quite rude. I called the store when I left to complain about my experience. The person who answered the phone was a lot nicer and spoke to me in a much more humanitarian tone, not rude, and more empathetic. Honestly, what if this was a real emergency? What if I was someone who had no control - the mess they would have to clean up would have been a much worse situation. Believe me, I was close! To deny someone the use of the facilities is inhumane and to be rude to a desperate customer about something that should not be denied was humiliating! I’ve never seen this woman at the store before, but I assure you, not returning. It’s a shame because I did enjoy shopping...

Hahahaha what a joke of a place! 50% off the ticketed price of garbage. Check out the coffee makers stained and are supposed to be new. I big piece of stained, dirty, soiled foam for sale, mystery furniture in broken cardboard boxes... I am positive it's heavily damaged and screws and parts missing! Walk in and be greeted by a skid of jumbo Jenga blocks with the top of each box open... look inside... some are 1/2 full, 1/4 full... each is a different volume, but same price. There's so much junk in there. It makes Value Village look like a boutique. When you finally find which doors are to get out of the misery, you find 2 clearance shopping carts.... one full of salsa, the other full of pickles for sale... JUST IN CASE YOU FORGOT THAT IS WHAT YOU WENT IN THERE FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE! OHHHHHH Also, the electronic/ computer wires, cables and other things from Walmart.... They spent hours to black permanent mark over every Razer logo and Walmart information... on each and every package. There's so many laughs and chuckles, my ribs hurt when I left. Free...
