Busy dog beach and human park with limited parking and dog area. Lots of human and dog activity strolling on the paved path next to the lake but the actual dog beach is fairly limited with two areas separated by a creek. Recently they put up a fence on either end to prevent dogs from running off onto the pedestrian path. If your dog loves the water, they will totally love this place. If you are looking for a little more dog running space, you might prefer the city dog park up Gellatly (poorly advertised and marked) in Westbank at Town Centre Park behind George Pringle School. The adjacent area is for humans with dogs on leash with a picnic area but expect dogs everywhere on an off leash. Go further south and there is the pier and humans enjoying swimming. No commercial development there, so bring your own picnic. Super busy on weekends.
