I am a Starbucks fanatic. Probably (embarrassingly at least five times a week) I have never left a Starbucks so baffled about how someone was willing to speak to me that way and I believe she was one of the supervisors. The first time I went to pay, the machine didnât go through meaning she had to re-start the whole process, she held out the debit machine to me and said we have to do it again it didnât work. Thinking she meant the debit transaction, I kindly reached my card out again to re-tap, she then snapped and said âno your whole Starbucks card, we need to re-do the whole processâ while still holding out the debit machine to me. I said âsorry Iâm not sure what youâre trying to do hereâ as I had my Starbucks card now pulled up on my phone and she still had the debit machine out. As she looked down and realized her mistake she laughed it off and then handed me my drink. I ordered a venti drink and asked that it come in a Trenta cup to which she said initially âabsolutely weâll see you up at the windowâ. When she could tell I wasnât super happy she tried to act as if they had no clue what they had done and was intentionally obtuse. I told her itâs not in a venti cup like I asked for and she replied âoh so you just wanted it in that cup for room? We assumed you wanted a bigger drink so we just didnât do it. Next time you need to tell usâ I explained that Iâd never had the problem before as typically people give me what I ordered not their own interpretation of it. She continued to tell me that âif I would have said this, and next timeâ while completely ignoring that the drink isnât what I asked for, I wasnât happy, and she had accused me of trying to be malicious with⌠coffee?? Something completely backwards about the way she treats her customers her chalk name tag was conviently smudged however I think her name was Farsali Or Fazali....
Read moreOrdered two Americanos and an Everything Bagel toasted with butter and a knife after a lovely elderly lady ordered. My husband got his Americano and the bagel and went to find a seat. There was a mug with a drink sitting on the counter as I was waiting for my Americano. The elderly lady asked me if I knew what the the drink on the bar was and I responded that I wasn't sure and would ask. She thanked me and said that she does not hear well and thought it could be hers but didn't want to be rude. I tried to get the attention of several workers with no success. I finally asked loudly to the young man making drinks "Excuse me, can you tell me what this drink is?" to which he responded rudely "I have no idea!". Then a girl working the drive thru said quietly "It's a cappuccino." So I helped the elderly woman by repeating what it was and she was very grateful. Following this, I recieved my Americano and my husband came in and said "No butter and no knife". So I went to the front to get the till workers attention and shouted out that I needed butter and knife with the bagel I ordered. Then a "supervisor" replied rudely that I needed to order that when I order the bagel!!! I said "I DID!" and the girl that took my order passed me the butter and knife and quietly said "I'm sorry" as she knew that I clearly ordered that. I really have no idea why this Starbucks location has to be so ignorant, rude, and disrespectful to customers, but it is really off-putting. I really wish I could review with 0 stars, 1...
Read moreWe went through the drive thru and got a couple drinks, made the same way. I paid with cash at the window and received the wrong change back. For reference - the cost was $23.25 and I gave them $25.25 so I would get a toonie back. They gave me $1.90 back. Whatever. We get the drinks and I see they were inputted wrong, didnât taste like they were supposed to (Iâve ordered this drink before at other locations). I went inside after and let them know about this. They asked me if Iâd like them to âjust add inâ what was missing, or remake them, I said just do whatever your protocol says to do (knowing they are supposed to remake it, as I worked as Starbucks for a number of years so I know their policies about this). They remade them, tasted good as usual. When I returned the drinks not made properly, they left me with them. I didnât want them so I let the girl know I was leaving them on the counter so the garbage didnât get filled with liquid. She then proceeds to tell me to âgo into the bathroom and dump them out - the code is xyzâ. I said I have to go, thank you and have a nice day. I thought it was the strangest thing that they couldnât just take them and dump the drinks into the sinks right in front of them. Probably were irritated with me that I had them fix their mistake. Anyway, I wasnât angry that the mistake was made. But that final comment was just so abnormal I almost had to laugh. Anyway, apparently this location is known to be poor in terms of service so, thatâs alright. Just wonât...
