First time visit and this a great park. Fist impressions are lasting impressions and this park is clean and beautiful. It is situated right beside the North Saskatchewan River. There is a great walking/biking trail through the park that is part of the Edmonton River Valley Trail System so there is access to many other great trails. The park has picnic tables and fire pits to enjoy. There are washrooms facilities and limited parking. The views of the river are wonderful. I will definitely be coming back again. This is also the starting point for the new Edmonton Commonwealth Walkway , check it out it’s pretty cool.

Government House Park – a great little inner-city spot right by the River Valley. Perfect for a picnic. They’ve got rotating little fire pits, plenty of benches, and what some people call the “crazy tree” (kids love to crawl all over that little structure).

Just another civic treat. Thank...
