I had really bad tendonitis in both wrists where my thumbs would actually lock and it would be extremely painful to do every day tasks such as picking up my baby, dishes, vacuuming, brushing my hair, etc. It became so bad I had to permanently wear thumb braced splints for both wrists while taking care of 3 children under 5 years old. I had gone to physio with no luck and got one round of steroid injections that helped immediately, but the pain came back in a couple of weeks.

A friend had suggested acupuncture to me and I came to see Eileen. She is the most friendly and sociable practitioner I have ever met. Her treatment room was very relaxing and Eileen made sure I was fully informed and comfortable before starting my procedure as I typically am afraid of getting needles. I couldn’t even pick up a pen to write before seeing Eileen and when I got home I was writing a whole groceries list with ease again! The procedure for my tendonitis provided immediate relief and I went back for 2 more treatments and now I am free of pain in my wrists, forearms and thumbs since. Eileen also provides cupping therapy that she had incorporated into my treatment plan which helped with my tendonitis and relieved my neck, shoulders and back pain.

Let’s start with the reason of what brought me to Eileen. I’m a middle age woman suffering with the lovely gifts of peri-menopause (irregular sleep, hot flashes, etc). One day a friend suggested acupuncture, i thought why not and I found Eileen. Her assessment is thorough to help get a common goal. Menopause is an ongoing circle of troubles and Eileen has helped me alleviate most of them to get me to function. There are also pressure points for stress!! Yes, STRESS release and i beg for it at every session. Recently, i had shoulder pain from repeated work routines and she did deep acupuncture and helped with that too. To top it off she does facial acupuncture, it was rejuvenating and relaxing. Anything to combat those pesky age lines, go away old age!
