This location is kinda snooty. Ive been to the location on whyte, and it was great, I had one of their croissant donuts, and it was delicious. I went to this location one afternoon, and asked for a croconut, mispronouncing the name, as it is called a Cronut. The guy behind the counter looked at me incredulously, asked me again what I wanted. When I mispronounced it again, he just continued to stare for about 5 seconds before laughing and telling me it was called a cronut. Did I mess up the name, sure, but the way the guy went about it just made me feel belittled. He knew what I wanted, but needed to inform me his way. Probably won't go back to this location, but I'd recommend the one on...

I stopped here by chance because I was too hungry to wait out the line at another place nearby, and I'm very glad I did! I got the Grick Middle breakfast sandwich. The bread was obviously fresh and had a nice crustiness without being sharp. Of all the ingredients, I was most skeptical of the tomato jam but it turned out to be the show stopper! What I didn't understand at first was how a tomato jam could be superior to ketchup or a slice of tomato. Once I tried it I understood. As expected, the tomato provides a refreshing contrast to the heavier elements while turning the umami up to 11 but the jam texture really allows the tomato to permeate through every chew without being...

Sandwiches are excellent, I had the Montreal one this time and it’s honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Spicy and juicy, very flavourful.

Wasn’t that big a fan of the pumpkin cronut, honestly lacked flavour. The sugar saved it!

Service, not such a fan of tbh. I’m a bit old school and if I’m eating in for the price we’re paying it would be a nice touch to have the sandwich bought to the table. It wasn’t busy and there’s 3 staff, 2 on phones. I had to get up again to get napkins. Sure these things are on me but plenty of other places have these things covered. Maybe trying to be a bit too...

Ordered the Grick Middle, their famous cronut, and a locally made soda. Excellent customer service received. It was a delicious endeavour, but this place is a tad bit expensive considering the portions. My whole order was $16+. I like to be adventurous so this place definitely hit that spot in terms of eclectic taste- but I probably wouldn’t come here to explore more of the menu. Also, i wish their sandwiches were wrapped in softer paper... they use heavier wax paper to wrap and it made eating my sandwich awkward and difficult. Overall, pretty good hipster food place to try, but a bit overhyped.

I always get the Chef Beef sandwich and what makes this yummy has to be the pickled onions. Super refreshing to every bite in contrast with potato chips. However I find the bread to always be kinda hard to eat with the sandwich (like it's too dry for me) but perhaps that's because I like my bread softer and more plush. Also the amount of aioli they put differs depending on who makes the sandwich as sometimes I would a decent slab but other times when there isn't enough then the whole sandwich can be quite dry and hard to eat. I like how this location has seating inside though!
