It was initially created in 1988 by Atlantic Model Engineering Society and later open to the public in 1996. The ride is free of admission but I would suggest donate at the entrance to support this fun to be continue. My son love it so much and they also offer picnic space. It beat all other charged mini train ride we have ride before! Check the website for opening days and plan your trip with your little train lover.

This is a magical little place where young children can enjoy the wonder of trains. There are shaded spots to sit, picnic tables an bbqs available to rent. The folks with the Atlantic Engineering Society share their passion of model trains and run this spot out of that passion and goodness of heart. By donation to get in. Some of the trains are electric and a couple are actual steam engines run on coal. There are little station set ups and an actual mini water tower that they use for said engines. Really delightful spot for memorable and non-hyped activity for a child's imagination and for great family time. Best for ages 2 - 10. Check the current year's schedule as they are not open...

This small-size train model is a delightful experience for both kids and adults. Featuring both steam and gas engines, it's not only beautifully crafted and detailed but also entirely free to enjoy. While there's no cost to experience this charming model, donations are welcome to support its maintenance and future enhancements. Whether you're a train enthusiast or just looking for a fun activity, this model is sure to impress. Highly...

My 12 year old train nut son loved it here . Staff is good . Can be a wait time to go on the train rides but worth it . It's all run by volunteers that love what they do . They are only open TheY occasional weekends so you have to see when they are running . Can pay by card or cash . They have picnic tables there so you can bring a picnic and have a lunch there when we were there there was a lady selling some baked goods as well and...
