Avon Valley Lanes — Restaurant in Windsor

Called to order pizza, and the guy who answered said “my shift ends in 5 minutes and I don’t know when the cook is coming in so, I just made my last pizza. Probably won’t be till 5 when they start to prepare them”. That was at 3:30. I said okay I’ll wait (their pizza is always usually excellent so I figured it would be worth the wait). I called back at 4:15 to check to see if the next guy came in to make the pizzas and to see when they would be ready, and I end up talking to the same guy who said “yeah I just put your pizzas in”. Good thing I called because if not my pizza would have been ready sitting there for an hour or more and nobody would have let me know. Generally the customer service is awesome and I’ve never had an issue but this time was not the case. Also messed up and gave me the wrong pizza. Hopefully better next time. Visited here with my wife today and we had a blast.

It was pretty busy when we arrived, as there was a birthday party happening; and there was only one staff member working. She definitely had a lot of tasks to do trying to help all customers, but despite that, she was still very friendly and helpful.

They don’t have screens to record the scores. Instead, they have the old school score sheets, which is still very fun!

Ball lanes are are worn down so they fly off. Bowling balls coming for your feet and legs is just so fun!! Serving less than half of their menu usually if the even are at all.
