First outing in a while. Went to meet some old friends from work and Crescent Drive Park is centrally located with lots of space for safe distancing. Bring some lawn chairs though, most of the standard park equipment is roped off. I brought my dog as well, which means my hands were full and I didn't take any pictures. That was a pity as there were a couple of deer wandered by, and we had to move our circle at one point to let the raccoon in the tree we were using as a bike stand come down. Members from the City of Winnipeg, Provincial Government, and Federal Government attended yesterday's picnic. The weather was perfect. The previous accommodation was recently with a...
Read moreLove this park. Started coming here over 25 years ago. The fall is especially nice - gorgeous color changes in the trees. The paths are well maintained and run alongside the river and through the forested area in the middle. Plenty of deer to see on every visit. Family of raccoons seen as well a few times. The parking spaces are ample. Lots of great picnic spaces. There is a kids playing area with structures. New bathroom facilities as well. You can visit this place in any season. Very calm and peaceful along the rivers edge. Definitely one of my favorites...
