At least once each season, my wife and I go for a stroll along Waterfront Drive and through Stephen Juba Park. Sometimes were are heading to Cibo Café, and sometimes we are just walking and I am looking for photo opps. The park and walkways are steeped in history, with tributes to the Selkirk settlers, the Theater District, the city Water Services and to the role of the Grain Industry.

My favourite place to walk in the entire city. So beautiful. All the trees, right along the river, benches, light posts, bridges, gardens…even a community garden with veggies and fruit any resident is welcome to take. It is also home to “The Gone Too Soon garden”. People are always so friendly on the path, brightens my day every time I go.

The worst thing about this outdoor space, overtaken by nature is its name because there is nowhere to actually park. The best thing about this outdoor space the is the freshwater creek that borders the eastern boundaries that gives life to the mixed greens that feed the thriving city rabbit population. Hunting or snaring any of the endangered bunnies that call this place home is frowned upon because who wants their safe space feeling unsafe?

Beautiful trail along waterfront drive. There is an encampment at the end. Look out spot to get a clear view of the river. Recommend to stay in trail as off trail is beautiful it a lot of garage. On trail lots of people out and about. Walking/biking area is amazing condition

Nice place to walk or sit. Park is right by the river. It is especially nice during fall when the leaves change color.

The sun is always warmer here and I love that they've planted vegetables in all the gardens this year!
