Took my wife out for our 25th Wedding Anniversary and we had a reservation for 8:30 PM. We arrived 15 minutes early and no one was at the front desk. Sign says wait to be served. After a few minutes of waiting we flagged down a waiter who said we would let the hostess know. So hostess shows up and tells us there is no table available even though it's after 8:30 and we have a reservation. Anyway most of the meat was good. I tried several of the Brazilian sides but several of them are covered in this Brazilian vinaigrette. I guess it's an acquired taste. I got through about a third of these dishes before calling it quits. My wife's garlic mashed potatoes were ruined by so much garlic that one bite was all we could handle. They don't have fountain drinks, but instead have these cute tiny bottles of Coke at 3 bucks a piece. I ordered their signature drink and told them either no ice or very little as I have sensitive teeth. It came in an actual hollowed out pineapple completely full of ice. They have over a dozen meats available, but you don't order them. Instead you have a cardboard coin which you flip green side up if you want them to offer more meat or red if you have had enough meat. You turn it to the desired colour as you see fit. So you sit there and different guys walk around with these giant skewers and a large knife and cut slices off for you. There is no rhyme nor reason as to what meat shows up next at your table. I could go on for chapters on the good and bad but we went for the unique experience and did enjoy ourselves to a certain degree. Whether we will return to this place remains to be seen. It was nice to try something different and this place did deliver in regards to that.

The servers are all a hoot. They make this already unique experience of all-you-can-eat meat, complete. My favourite meats by far (and likely those of my companions) were the ribs and the ribeye. Just delicious. It was certainly fun comparing all the cuts of steak. No filet mignon here but many others (ribeye, tri-tip, sirloin, flank) and it was great eating them side by side. The sausage, chicken, Ham, everything was yummy. There is a menu of sides and they are included in the all you can eat price so order away! We always love the grilled pineapple at the end! Dessert was another story. I wouldn't recommend going here for dessert. We've been several times but this was the first time we ate dessert apart from the grilled pineapple. The photos in the pictures look like they were taken on a point and shoot in the 90s. Disappointing for such a great restaurant so I can only imagine that they were going for "authentic" and that was intentional? Anyway, because this place is great, we decided to look past the photo and order. We ordered the cake. Oh my.... it was not good. Between 6 of us we didn't even finish it. Dry and tasteless. I think it was Brazilian carrot cake. I love carrot cake. Not this one. But dessert aside, everything else is top notch! And the best part is the location! To work off our exploding tummies we went for a glorious walk along the river and through the neighbourhood. Great spot!

Great place! We're from south of Brazil and what they do at Carnaval is really the brazilian barbecue, the "churrasco gaúcho" (similar to Uruguayan or Argentinian barbecue as well). Staff are really friendly and helpful. I went there to lunch in a Friday during summer and the place had some people and it was fine, the staff kept the good variety of meats, chickens, and sausages. You can also order as many sides as you want, including salads, some typical Brazilian food, or fries for example. A great selection for the price. And for the ones who are complaining that the the meat is salty, 1st: you should clear your taste (both for salt and cooking point). 2nd: sorry but, it is what it is. Just compare it to spicy food, everyone has their tolerance for it. I don't like really spiced food, so I don't go at places that are spicy. Simple as that. I would only recommend to have more staff to serve the barbecue. Also, having a regular sausage, instead of only having the spicy one. Same for the pork, to have a regular one without the "barbecue sauce" (which we actually don't have on the "churrasco", we use only rocky salt). Appart from those, you folks gained a loyal "gaúcha" family as customers. We'll certainly going to take some Canadians and other people to taste our unique barbecue.

Had Dinner here, we were a group of 4, service was great, prompt, courteous, we were well taken care of. Unfortunately that is the only good thing I can say, the meats were ok but not great and if you got the cut from the outer part it is really salty, too salty. Make sure not to let the meat sit too long on your plate, they taste best right after it has been carved out. I am saying this because the pacing of the rodizio is too fast so dont hesitate to flip that card to red from time to time. I must say the first few meats carved on our table were ok but then the succeeding ones tasted all the same and you will need those side dishes to help refresh your palette and get read of the lingering saltiness. The variety of the meat was a bit lacking too, after 5 different cuts of meat the rodizio started repeating and only seldom introducing the items like the bacon wrapped sirloin and the ribs (they were not good). Overall it was worth the experience but not the cost, it was too expensive for the quality we got but if you are a big eater then you can probably get your moneys worth, probably.

Understaffed, and the food was coming out at much too low a temperature. It's BBQ, it should be served hot, not slightly above room temperature. You need to let steak rest, but come on. I was sitting right by the cooking station so I was getting it as hot as it came. Makes even less sense when items like the bacon wrapped sirloin were well done (overcooked), so that certainly should have been hotter than it was. Flavour was a bit all over the place. Some items were nicely seasoned, others had almost no taste, and others it seemed like the salt canister was dropped on the meat by mistake. The sausage was mealy (and also not hot enough), too bad because the flavour was nice. Also, the gaucho spent more time chatting with the chef and doing other stuff outside of the dining room than he did actually bringing around the meat. First 30 minutes after being sat I had been given 3 items, and the place wasn't very busy. Definitely not worth the hefty price.
