Duanmen, also known as the Gate of Uprightness, or Upright Gate, is a gate in Beijing's Imperial City, and is located south of the Forbidden City. Proceeding north from the entrance to the Imperial City, it is the next gate after the Tian'anmen, or Gate of Heavenly Peace, and has a similar structure to that gate.

nach dem Tor Tiananmen folgt Duanmen, das zweite Tor. Direkt dahinter befindet sich dann quasi der Eingangsbereich zur Verbotenen Stadt wo man sich auch Tickets kaufen kann. Allerdings rate ich jeden sich bereits vorher Tickets zu kaufen, dort hin zu kommen ohne Ticket und nicht lange warten zu müssen ist praktisch eine Seltenheit. Bist hierhin kann man also auch noch ohne Ticket
