Haizhu Bridge — Attraction in Guangzhou City

After dinner one night, we were so full and hence decided to venture around our hotel. We were walking along the river and saw that there’s actually pedestrian walkway across the bridge. We walked up and stopped at the middle of the bridge to take some really awesome pictures with the river as our backdrop. It was quite a comfortable walk. We didn’t cross entirely but walked back after hitting the halfway mark. Beautiful night views of Guangzhou right in the middle...

The bridge was bombede by Japanese facists in 1938 after Japan had started ocvupation of China in 1937.

12 years later, on October the 14th 1949 at 5 PM it was bombede by Chiang Kai-shek suported by weapons and dynamite from the United States of America.
