As the founder of the illustrious Southern Han Dynasty and a devoted follower of Buddhism, it was with great humility and reverence that I recently visited the magnificent 大佛寺, the Great Buddha Temple. Nestled amidst the tranquil surroundings of our kingdom, this temple stands as a beacon of spiritual solace and grandeur, a testament to the enduring legacy of Buddhism in our land. From the moment I set foot within the sacred grounds of 大佛寺, I was enveloped in a sense of peace and tranquility that transcended the mortal realm. The grandeur of the temple's architecture, with its intricate carvings and soaring pagodas, spoke to the skill and devotion of the craftsmen who had dedicated their lives to its creation. Throughout my visit, I was struck by the dedication and piety of the monks and worshippers who called 大佛寺 their spiritual home. Their chants and prayers echoed through the halls, creating a symphony of devotion that resonated deep within my soul.

Well, the night view of this temple is beautiful. In the temple, there are these three big buddha statues. I'm just not happy that there's a sign that's says we can't take photo - why would you not allow to take photos - it's not that our buddha will be angry at that - in fact he will be happy and the authorities must allow this. Nevertheless, I still took pictures as I saw there were no enforcement ppl there. So enjoy the photos, ya. I may even get into trouble with this. But honestly, I believe I did not break any crime. And it is not a cultural disrespect to take photos of my beautifully crafted Buddha statues. I love buddha, and taking photos should be allowed.

This is the most amazing temple in town! Around 1pm there are monks chanting in the hall, it's a great experience to join. Make sure to eat at the Vegan restaurant! Downstairs serves buffet, which is the best in town, so many dishes and choices, you will never miss eating meat. The Tricholoma matsutake tea is the best beverage I have ever had! They are popular so make sure you stay alert and get yours before they are gone, although they do refill often. And upstairs servers a la carte. Incenses are offered free or by donation at the station in the courtyard behind the Buddha hall, so don't buy any incenses from street vendor outside the temple.

Da Fo Temple, located in the heart of Yuexiu District, right along the famous Beijing Street, is a serene Buddhist temple that offers a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling city. This temple, primarily a place of worship for locals, stands as a significant spiritual site, drawing visitors from near and far.

One of the most enchanting times to visit is in the evening when the temple is illuminated by a beautiful array of lights, creating a mesmerizing and tranquil atmosphere. Despite the temple's popularity and the crowds it attracts, the environment remains calm and respectful, making it an ideal place for contemplation and reflection.

While visiting, it's important to maintain a quiet demeanor to preserve the peaceful ambiance, as the temple is a place for prayer and meditation.

Overall, Da Fo Temple offers a harmonious blend of cultural significance, spiritual tranquility, and stunning beauty, making it a must-visit destination for those seeking a deeper connection with the traditions and heritage...
