Taotaoju — Restaurant in Guangzhou City

Breakfast with fam, ordered dim sum which the one that caught my tastebuds was the 虾饺 “har gao”. The taste is amazing as compared to any other places that I’d tried. The youtiao that caught my attention, but it was a “meh” as it’s too oily itself.

The staffs are all pretty polite, ambience is good.

Overall, it’s a good place for breakfast if one is looking for a comfortable meal with Aircon, and good taste.

Anyway, the address stated on the Google map is incorrect. They might have moved, and not updated. They are currently located at the 7th floor on the Tee Mall Shangpin...

Beautiful restaurant situated in the shopping mall (7th floor). We reached in the early afternoon and had to wait for around 30mins for a table. We walked around the mall and played at the toy machines to pass time.

The famous custard bun was OOS, so we only had the shao mai, chee cheong fun and deep fried tofu. The tofu was highly recommended and I agree that the batter is really yummy but the insides were a bit too plain for me.

Overall, I dont think this place is a die die must try. There are better dim sum elsewhere. You can still come here for normal dim sum and to take...

One of my favourite spot for Dim Sum 陶陶居, the iconic Michelin-starred restaurant in Guangzhou! As always, the food was delicious, the service top-notch, and the variety of dishes truly satisfying.
