The Elephant Trunk Hill Scenic Area is big, but only a few of the things inside are really worth seeing. Certainly Elephant Trunk Hill itself is one of them, as it is one of the most iconic sites in Guilin, as well as the top of the mountain on which the arch can be found, but other than that the scenic area has a very touristy feel to it without much in the way of authenticity. The views from the top of the mountain are good, but not as good as some of the other hills mountains in town. At 100 kuai to enter the park, the price is pretty steep by Chinese standards as well.
