Allow me to be completely blunt about my stay. The convenience of location and accessibility to transportation is fantastic. Then it goes down hill from there. The ambiance is very dull and boring almost everything is awashed in shades of taupe. There are a few spots that draw your attention due to the intentionally placing of murals in vibrant colors, The staff of dressed as raggedy seamen in oversized denim pants and ill fitting shirts. They themselves have absolutely no character at all. Smiles are vacant from their blank expressionless faces. The desk staff make half hearted attempts at appearing courteous. Maybe because I'm a westerner.

I honestly expect better from this Brand..The room is very small no bathtub those are an upgrade. The TV is useless because everything is in Chinese. (beginning to sense a theme) The room is poorly lit. Light placement leaves many dark spots. The bathroom upon first glance appears to be immaculate. Then you notice the stains and dust accumulated of the glasses on the sink. There is of course signage asking if you plan to reuse the towel hang it on the hook. I was staying four days, so why not. I came back to my room and guess what. They replaced the towel that I hung up! Maybe their house cleaners should be properly trained.

I went down to breakfast (free buffet) the fist thing that you notice that its like walking into an icebox. They had a pretty good spread. But it was all cold. The ceiling fans are just a little over 8 feet above your head blasting the cold air onto your plate. So the fantasy of a hot meal is quickly diminished. I had to tell the staff how to make oatmeal because their oatmeal you could easily drink through a straw. So breakfast was doomed especially since they placed pre cooked waffles with the bread ugh!

I went back to my room and noticed that the door was open. Apparently the door doesn't fully close unless you pull it closed. Come to think of it.. The door was open when I woke up..I was very tired and didn't notice .. Of course I informed management I got the usual SOP response apologies and room change.. I asked for a bathtub after 30 minutes they claimed none available. So I ended up staying in my original room and making sure to pull the door closed. Instead they offered me free dinner buffet. I should have ate out lol

They buffet at dinner (and lunch) is was smaller than breakfast spread and offers no western dishes. Primarily chinese foods ( what a shocker)

I opted for some nice steamed rice and curry chicken since I'm no fan of fish heads and other such fish items. This time I was smart I carried some napkins and covered my food soon as I placed on my plate.. This was I'll have at least warm food. I bit into my rice and nearly chipped a tooth! How the hell does a Chinese person not know how to use a rice cooker?

This place needs a new executive chef very badly! I expected so much from an international hotel. This location seems to focus on Chinese travelers. They could care less about other travelers.

I'll never stay at this location again nor will I recommend this location to other travelers
