I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pizza Express in Tung Chung, and I must say it was a delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm and friendly staff who made me feel right at home.

The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, with a modern yet comfortable decor. The open kitchen concept allowed me to see the chefs in action, preparing the delicious pizzas that Pizza Express is known for. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, creating a pleasant atmosphere for dining.

Now, let's talk about the food. IThe menu at Pizza Express offers a wide variety of options, from classic pizzas to innovative creations. I opted for their bbq beef pizza, linguine Bolognes, the chocolate lava cake for dessert and it did not disappoint. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, and the toppings were generous and flavorful. Each bite was a burst of deliciousness, and I couldn't help but savor every mouthful.

In addition to their pizzas, Pizza Express also offers a range of appetizers, salads, and pasta dishes. I tried their garlic bread and it was heavenly. The bread was soft and fluffy, with just the right amount of garlic and herbs. It was the perfect accompaniment to my pizza.

I’m really disappointed to be disappointed with Pizza Express as I’ve always loved the restaurant prior to the move. I had the lunch special and really wanted a thin crust pizza so that I can enjoy my meal in its entirety. The manager said that if I changed it to thin crust it becomes a bigger pizza, they change the name and charge an extra $20 for it. I understand the cost difference if you add extra toppings as the size is bigger, but all I wanted was the same pizza, the same size, less dough and to be able to enjoy my pizza on a thin crust. Unfortunately they couldn’t accommodate for that. I think Pizza express is great if you can order straight from the menu and not change a thing, but as soon as there needs to be a small accommodation, unfortunately I don’t think it’s the place for you. I generally struggle with quite a few allergies, so personally I find it worthwhile to know if a restaurant can not accommodate small changes.
