Whether you’re cooling off inside with their air-conditioned seating or catching that golden hour glow on the outdoor patio, the setting is just right. Imagine this: a gentle evening breeze, skies brushed with shades of blue, purple, and pink, and a cocktail in hand. Sounds like a pretty sweet setup, doesn’t it? 🌅🌴
The menu features a fusion of flavors, offering two distinct options: Indian dishes and Thai-Vietnamese favorites. Oh, and the cocktail selection? Let’s just say it’s worth exploring 🍸😋
Butter Chicken – $128 Garlic Naan – $36 This Butter Chicken is pure comfort in a bowl. The sauce is creamy, rich, and bursting with flavor, while the chicken is tender, juicy, and marinated just right. Pair it with the Garlic Naan, which strikes the perfect balance — slightly crispy on the outside, soft and pillowy on the inside, and with just the right hint of garlic 🫶🏻
Indian Lamb Chops (3 pieces) – $238 These lamb chops are everything you want them to be. Perfectly grilled with a nice char on the outside, they’re juicy and flavorful on the inside. The Indian spice marinade is bold without being overwhelming, and the tangy yogurt dip takes it up a notch. Best of all? There’s none of that off-putting aftertaste that lamb sometimes has — just pure, savory goodness in every bite. 🤤
Stir-Fried Mixed Vegetables (Phad Pak Ruam) – $88 🥦 This colorful dish is a mix of fresh veggies like Chinese broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, and baby corn, all stir-fried to just the right texture. It’s light, not greasy, and a great way to balance out the richer dishes on the menu.
Thai Iced Milk Tea – $55 This drink is smooth, fragrant, and oh-so-satisfying. You can adjust the sweetness to your liking, making it a refreshing way to end your meal or cool off mid-dinner 👍🏻

I recently had the opportunity to dine at Mint & Basil, a charming restaurant that offers a delightful fusion of Thai and Indian cuisine. On this occasion, we decided to explore their Thai offerings, and we were not disappointed.
To start our meal, we ordered the Tom Yum Noodles and the Squid in Belacan Sauce. The Tom Yum Noodles were a highlight—rich and fragrant, with a perfect balance of spicy and sour flavors. The broth was infused with fresh herbs and spices, making each spoonful a comforting experience. The squid, served in a savory Belacan sauce, was a treat. It was tender and beautifully complemented by the bold flavors of the sauce, which added a delightful kick.
For our main dish, we opted for the Nua Yang Takrai. This grilled beef dish was absolutely delicious, featuring succulent slices of meat infused with the aromatic essence of lemongrass. The accompanying dipping sauce provided a zesty contrast that enhanced the overall flavor profile.
To accompany our meal, we chose two refreshing drinks: Yellow Sky and Mange Blast. The Yellow Sky was a light, citrusy beverage that perfectly complemented the spiciness of our dishes, while the Mange Blast was a sweet, fruity treat that added a fun twist to our dining experience.
Overall, Mint & Basil impressed us with its flavorful Thai menu and inviting atmosphere. The service was attentive and friendly, making our evening even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Mint & Basil for anyone looking to savor delicious Thai cuisine in a...
Read moreIn the sleepy afternoon, I strolled into a quaint and elegant restaurant named MINT & BASIL. As I pushed open the door, a refreshing aroma greeted me, as if I had stepped into a foreign kitchen, stirring my imagination.
I ordered the Khaw Phad Poo, a crab meat fried rice that resembled golden sunshine. The rice was plump, and the crab meat was tender, harmoniously mingling with a hint of spices. Each bite seemed to narrate the story of the ocean. As I savored it, the fresh fragrance of crab flowed like a gentle stream to the depths of my heart, leaving me enchanted. 🍚🦀
Next came the Hoi Lai Pad Prik, with its translucent green mussels. The passion of the chili danced with the sweetness of the mussels, reminiscent of a summer sea breeze, bringing a refreshing joy. Each bite carried a slight spiciness yet remained crisp and refreshing, making it unforgettable. 🌶️
Finally, the Phanaeng Goong, a curry shrimp dish, was as splendid as the sunset. The rich curry enveloped the shrimp, thick and not greasy, seemingly dancing on my palate, tempting me to ask for another bowl of rice to soak up the sauce. 🍤
This culinary experience allowed me to feel the chef's dedication, akin to a finely crafted poem—delicate and rhythmic. MINT & BASIL, with its unique flavors and warm service, will undoubtedly draw me back for another visit.
