I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tavola in Tung Chung, and I must say that my experience was truly exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. The star of the evening, however, was undoubtedly our waiter, Paulo.

Paulo's professionalism and attention to detail were simply outstanding. He had an extensive knowledge of the menu and was more than willing to offer his recommendations, ensuring that our drinks perfectly complemented our meal. His passion for his craft was evident, and it made the entire dining experience even more enjoyable.

Speaking of drinks, I must mention that Tavola serves some of the best beverages I have ever tasted. Every sip was bursting with flavor, and the presentation was impeccable. It was evident that the bartenders take great pride in their work, and it certainly paid off.

Not only did Paulo ensure that our drinks were promptly served, but he also took the time to check on us throughout the meal to ensure our satisfaction. His genuine concern for our experience was truly refreshing and added a personal touch to our evening.

I've been going to A Tavola since it opened years ago. Always been a great place to sit with friends for drinks and meals. The staff have always been nice and attentive. Yesterday was a bit of a miss though. I went for dinner and drinks at 615pm. I was seated with a friend at a nice table outside. We were having drinks when a group of 6 walked in. There were many tables outside but the manager Hossayed (my apologies if I've misspelt it) seated them right next to us, adding another chair such that it was literally right next to mine and if someone sat there they would be sitting right next to me but facing the opposite way. The group of 6 and I pointed this out to Hossayed who then said I could move to a different table if I wanted. My friend and I pointed out to him that we were seated first and had been there a good hour but he gestured that we should instead move to another table. The manner in which it was communicated seemed rather brash and impolite, gesturing us by hand to move to an adjacent table and I was provided no explanation as to why this group suddenly had priority to sit where we were when there were numerous other tables available outside. It would be understandable if it was packed as it usually is on the weekends but the outdoor area was sparsely seated. Hossayed did say "but I have apologized," but again no explanation why we had to move and make way for the new group. Not sure if the establishment or management has a service recovery policy. I recently dined at A Tavola in Tung Chung and was absolutely blown away by the incredible food and amazing service! This place is a hidden gem, offering a delicious fusion of Italian, Mexican, and Mediterranean cuisine—every bite was a flavor explosion!

I ordered the Surf and Turf and the Lamb Chop, and both dishes were perfection. The meat was incredibly tender, cooked to juicy, mouthwatering excellence. The flavors were rich, well-balanced, and simply unforgettable. The seafood in the Surf and Turf was fresh and succulent, pairing beautifully with the steak.

What made the experience even better was the warm and friendly staff—they were attentive, welcoming, and made the meal even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was cozy yet vibrant, making it a great spot for any occasion.
