Sha Ha Beach — Attraction in Hong Kong

It is great place to go if you are looking for a causal walk along the coast. Excellent walking path where you will pass by a nice hotel with a church alike place for weddings. Through there, you can walk up to the pier where seafoods are waiting for you. But if you are looking for seafoods bbq nearby the beach. This is my first time to visit this Sha Ha Beach. It's at the North side of the Sai Kung Public Pier. I went for 2 walks during my stay at the WM Hotel. One was in the morning and the other one was in the evening . The beach is quiet & beautiful. The colorful canoes formed some beautiful patterns . Only a short walk away from the Sai Kung pier. Not the cleanest of beaches, but still decent to sit around or bring your dogs to play. They also have a bunch of kayak rental shops where you can get a kayak for the day, for HK$100, which is pretty cheap.

Currently, the beach is filled with trash and debris from the recent typhoon, including trees, bottles and rubbish, so best to be careful when roaming around barefoot. May take up to 6 months...
