Ushi City Stone Grill — Attraction in Hong Kong

My husband and I seldom visit this area. However, we had some errands to run. And luckily, we found this small diner. I had the beef bowl with urchin. My husband had the beef bowl with foie gras. I have to say, the food was super good. great quality of meat within budget. We also got beef tongue . It’s tender and not too chewy. The reason why I gave a three star on service is because they charged us for something we didn’t have. At first, we wanted some butter asparagus. The waiter told me they were out of asparagus. I was like oh it’s fine then. But they still charged me for it! I know it’s part of my fault that I didn’t check the receipt. I didn’t realise I pay for the dish I didn’t have the next day. Wish the waiter could be more careful on money though....

The grilled beef belly very generous. It serve with a hot plate makes all so Fresh and have to say meat just right and so easy to chew

The avocado crab salad was quite special as it has crab mixed with Japanese dressing, and the bottom had yuzu vinegar, but avocado is feeling like too cold which becomes a bit stiff

The fish roe and sea urchin rice was super tasty—we couldn’t stop eating. Staffs also follow our request adjust the rice volume (less rice) 👍🏻👍🏻

The grilled beef tongue was cooked just right, you would like it

The wagyu skewer was ok as lady dishes they recommend.

The place is clean and toilet too.

It was a small Japanese style roast beef teppanyaki restaurant that gives you different portion sizes to choose from, with the option to make it a combo meal which comes with 4 different choices that you are allowed to pick 3. Space is a bit cramped even in HK standards, I was seated between 2 other tables, we were close enough that when I was cutting my meat I had to watch out not to elbow my fellow diner there. Meat was of decent quality, nothing to write home about. The A5 grade Kobe was quite decent, I wouldve much rather order two orders of that versus my single order of Hanger Steak.
