Qipu Road Clothing and Accessories Commercial Pedestrian Street — Attraction in Shanghai

No sooner than I left my cab I was met by some dude who kept bothering me about what I shopping for. He asked if I wanted shoes or a suit? He could help me find a good place. I told him no. I was looking for a suit case ( I didn't tell him that) I shook him off, but soon another guy was pestering me. I ignored him and went to a luggage store. The owner was super pushy and would not let me leave to see other luggage stores. I finally settled on a hard case. I was short on cash and wanted to sée other stores so I told him I I need to find an ATM. That usually let's me escape such dealers, but this guy led me down three levels to the subway station, luggage in hand to an atm. I could only get 300 rmb (he wanted 400). Locals recommended going to this market to buy local cheap clothing, but it wasn’t what I expected. First, as soon we got out of the cab, one guy started following us and told us he will take us to better market. He will get commission if we buy something from the shops of his choice. They do t care what you want, they will really push you to go to the shops they have connection with the owners. Cloths are expensive, compared to US.
