Nan Hai Hotel — Attraction in Shenzhen

Nan Hai Hotel has a really good location. Near to the sea, 20 meters from the Ferry station and Subway, and only a 5 mins walk from Sea World. If you are not familiar with the city, it is a good place to stay. It should be a 5star hotel, but in european ratings, i think is around a 3+. The rooms are clean, and tidy, ang quite big. The furniture is ok, but a bit old. The garden is really nice, and the pool is also a good point. The staff is helpful, and nice, and speak english so they can help you big time, as most of the people do not speak any foreign languages. Unfortunately there is no wifi in the rooms (only in the lobby). This is a superb hotel for the business traveler who has work closer to Nanshan dist in Shenzhen. When you arrive at Hong kong, before immigration go to the ferry counter. You will get a ferry to Sekhou in shenzhen. You baggage will be collected and dont have to pass through immigration saving you time especially in the early morning. The ferry crossing is 35minutes and no customs check on the way and at shenzhen immigration over in 5 minutes. This great hotel is 2 minutes walk from the ferry port. Now the hotel itself is quite amazing. great landscaped area and a great jogging track. Rooms are well furnished though needed renovation.Breakfast is a great spread by western standards. Had to stay there twice on business last month. As said before, the Hotel is ideally situated for both the Hong Kong Ferry and the Immigration Office.||The staff were very friendly, spoke good English and check-in went efficiently.||My room, each time I stayed, was huge. It contained a Lounge and Bedroom (each with a TV) a small kitchenette and a good sized bathroom. The Shower head was a bit low as was the toilet bowl but I suppose the hotel wasn't built for Europeans.||Breakfast was fine with a good selection and the staff we again friendly and efficient.||||I enjoyed my stay and would be more than happy to stay...
