拱北口岸 — Attraction in Zhuhai

Horrible experience!!!!! 👎👎👎👎👎Immigration took so long. We waited for at least 1.5 hours to clear the china immigration. There's only one lane for foreigners and their residents had at least 15 lanes to clear but yet they still choose to queue at the foreigners lane! Everyone around was pushing and cutting the queue and squeezing for at least 500m. 100% would not recommend families with children to cross over. This is the longest timing I have ever experienced to clear the immigration! Low efficiency! It takes 5 minutes per person to clear the immigration as a foreigner!!!! Just imagine hundreds of people queueing in...

Crossed over from Macau to Zhuhai on a Sunday afternoon at around 12 noon. Only experienced a slight wait of about 10 minutes at Chinese immigration - head to the right of the arrival hall for the foreigner counters. Remember to fill in the foreigner arrival card (can be found at the table at the back of the hall, or just before passport control) before stepping forward for arrival immigration clearance

The Zhuhai underground shopping plaza (with a supermarket, restaurants, etc) is just across the first traffic intersection...

We crossed at around 17:30 on a Tuesday. Apparently that's the peak hour and a lot of local day tour groups cross at around this time. But I heard during weekends it can be worse, especially during the Chinese New Year period. The walking distance between the two countries is quite short.
