Longzhu International Hotel — Hotel in Nossa Senhora de Fátima

I have been staying at this hotel numerous time and was very disappointed this time. Don't get me wrong but the service of the hotel and staff are all first class but was very disappointed with a staff at the fitness centre, as I am a health person, I have to book a hotel that has a fitness centre, after check in I went to do my exercise and after signing in as usual I ask for staff for a towel as I am a sweaty person. Guessed what she said to me "No we don't give out towel, you need to bring your own from your room" I was shocking, I wanted to reason with her that I have no been rejected with a towel each time I stay here. So I had to do my exercise without a towel and drench with sweat and smelly, I was completely disappointed. I thought to myself when did this changed. So next day i went to do exercise but brought my own towel, well actually I asked the cleaner on my floor if I can get extra towel and she asked why I, is it not enough to use, I say, "no" to take to fitness centre because they wouldn't give it to me. The cleaning lady say no they should give to you, it is their duty, I told her they say no, I need to bring from room but the lady was very nice, she let me take whatever I want but she said, she never heard of it. Upon my check out, I asked the front desk if this policy has changed and they were shocked as well, they says "No" they have to give you towel and one of the staff says he went yesterday and they asked for it and they give him. I say no, they wouldn't give it to me, they says they will speak with the fitness centre, I do hope they will speak with them as I think it is stupid that I need to bring a towel myself. Stayed here many times and this time was a bit disappointed for my stay here. The staff was good as usual but a bit disappointed with the housekeeping ( 清洁女工 ) on the 8th floor which we stayed. On my check in day the bathroom necessities with the shampoo, conditioner and shower gel wasn’t replaced at all. They just left the set which was used by the previous guest and didn’t bother replacing a new set and only notice when taking a shower. This was very annoying as there wasn’t enough for 1 person to use. Complain because this service isn’t to standard. Then the next night the hairdryer wasn’t working because it was old, think they should check their appliances occasionally because on 1st night when using it can smell a bit of a burn smell from the hairdryer. Plus they didn’t clean the room properly, shouldn’t the cleaner put our cups and glasses that we used back into the drawer and maybe risen it before putting it back but when we came back the cups and glasses was left at the tabletop with water that was left by us. LOL. Overall apart from the cleaning service it was all good. Think next time we book we will ask not to stay...

If you're a person who dislikes hard bed, smell of tobacco/cigarette in the room, thin & old towels plus low shower water pressure, this is not a good choice of hotel to stay. This is really a budget hotel even if it's just 5 minutes walk to Gongbei Port and 10 minutes walk to other shopping area. Every time I come back from shopping & opened the door into my room, the smokey smell of tobacco greeted me and I have to rush to open the window. I asked the housekeeping staff whether this is a smoking floor but was informed that there's no segregation. Luckily I only stayed there for 2 nights but due to its hard bed (like sleeping on plank/floor), already that caused pain on my hip bone & spine (whether turning my sleeping position either left/right/center). They also don't provide kettle, hairdryer, tissue box in the room. Nevertheless, it's easy to find food at surrounding area near the hotel and bus stations to other places in China is just...
