What a wonderful park and trail system for local residents and tourists alike! We visited the area twice yesterday. We drove down near the dam and walked up to the dam itself and down along the River. There is a great playground and easy river access. Later in the day I walked our energetic German Shepherd up the Davis Dam Overlook trail from Davis Campground for a nice 4 mile hike. There are a number of trails with different access points, water and restroom facilities. Each of the trailhead/parking lots appears to have an onsite host/employee residing in an RV. Read moreThis is one of the nicest pleasure walks available in Laughlin/Bullhead City area for miles of paths for bicyclists, pedestrians, and equestrian riders. The path even leads you to Laughlin Riverwalk. For meditation, contemplation, or just plain leisurely walking, it is really nice. It was terrific after a heavy lunch! There is access to restrooms, shade shelters, incredible natural wildlife and fauna are an incredible template for relaxing as well as getting your cardio moving. Read moreThis is a nice little park to get away from the casinos in Laughlin, its only a short walk away from the strip, head north along the river walk and you will meet the trail into the park. There are plenty of clean restrooms for people to use along with many amenities to utilize. Many benches are placed along the trails to enjoy the river view or sit and relax. For those with children there is a decent sized playground with shade structures to keep some of the heat away. For those with boats a public boat launch is easy to get to with plenty of parking for trailers.
