Turkish House — Attraction in Grad Rijeka

I'd like to share the story of the Turkish house. There was a very handsome man working in Ottoman diplomacy who lived in Rijeka. He had black hair, a black beard, and was tall. Turška hiša, zgrajena okoli leta 1879, se nahaja ob glavni tržnici v Reki, na križišču ulic Giuseppe Verdi in Vatroslava Lisinskega. Ta del Reke na odseku med gledališčem in mestno tržnico, ki je bil takrat nov, je nastal z zasipanjem v 19. stoletju in je bil zamišljen kot elitni del, namenjen sodobnemu razvoju ladijstva, reškega pristanišča ter storitev in vitalnih dejavnosti mesta. Vpliv arabske arhitekture in umetnosti je viden v arhitekturnem oblikovanju. Edinstvena fasada z rdeče-rumenimi vodoravnimi črtami je bogata s stiliziranimi rastlinskimi in geometrijskimi ornamenti, tako poslikanimi kot oblikovanimi v arhitekturni plastiki. Fasada vsebuje tudi naslikane podobe človeških figur, ženskih in moških glav, kar ni značilno za orientalsko...

Edificio no visitable pero muy cerca de todas las rutas turísticas. Está muy cerca del puerto y perfectamente restaurado. Fue la embajada turca (imperio otomano) hasta el final de la primera guerra mundial.

En la arquitectura se aprecia bastante el estilo turco, tanto en las ventanas como en el resto de perfiles
