Muzej Farmacije — Attraction in Grad Rijeka

A bit lacking compared to the other museums of rijeka especially for the price. Its mostly very surface level knowledge in text form and the AR implementation is cool at first but gets rather boring quickly. The exhibitions often felt a bit uncared for, (we opened a drawer with trash in it in the main room in the middle.) And like the person who designed them didnt take many things into consideration. One example would be the plant cupboard at the end: some of the text was super uncomfortably readable because it was so low and a vial was always infront of the text also. Or the text to the plants outside: partially covered and cobwebs on it.

Absolutely admirable initiative of a pharma company to organize and set-up this small but highly informative and well organized museum. If you wish to learn when and how pharmacist got separated from physicians, step into real historical pharmacy, learn about plants in pharmacy, about development of pharmacy in this region, important contribution to the field by the people of this region, about thr success of the Jadran Galenski Laboratorij, .... you should stop for a visit (anywhere between 20 minutes and 2 hours). The interior is tipical for old farmacies, even the floor is from the right period.
