This was a fantastic experience. First, there were the peacocks. Then, we went to the Pardubice history display, where we were given a personal tour of the exhibit by a women that was, obviously very knowledgeable and proud of the city's history (we really enjoyed this). To top this off, there was a glass exhibit. All I can say is, WOW. We are not done, just yet. There was a gallery of local art that was very impressive. And like they say in the info-mercials, "but wait, there is more", our admission included a visit to the Jonah's House, on the square. We went there, but they were between exhibits. Bummer. Pardubice really was a delight. It is not over run by tourists. The locals were very accommodating, and were very happy to see visitors. It was like Prague...

Very cozy place for sightseeing. The castle is situated in Pardubice - some 20min walk from the train station. Dont be lazy - just walk all the way to the castle. The road are clean, you can find lits if cafes along the way. First you will walk under the tower with a clock and will end up on a little but beautiful square. Then the cobblestone road leads the way to a castle. The castle itself is not too big but looks very nice, the little square in front pictures an antient fair in the head.
