Burza #4 — Attraction in Prague

I went to this bar over the weekend, I liked the beer and the atmosphere, so I decided to come again, and that day was today.

Today, I received the worst service I can recall, and it was a complete contrast to my experience over the weekend.

First of all, we waited for a very long time for our order. We ordered two burgers at 9:00 PM. At 9:30 PM, I received only one burger, and the waitress told me they had mixed something up and the second burger wasn’t ready - “wait 10 more minutes.” Okay, I waited, but instead of 10 minutes, it took 20. When I picked up the burger, I said that waiting nearly an hour for an order is too much. If they know the place is fully booked, they should be prepared. To that, the blonde waitress raised her voice and said, “Don’t you see how many people we have?! Look around and wait.” When I asked her not to speak to me like that, her response was, “Ok, bye.” And her face was showing how much she want me to go you now where.

Honestly, it’s the first time I’ve seen a waitress speak so rudely and raise her voice at a customer.

As a result, I left upset and hungry after 10 PM:(

I understand, there can be a lot of people. But I believe that staff in the restaurant business should never raise their voice...

Epic seasonal project - something what Holešovická tržnice and Holešovice in general needs desperately.

Different DJs and music artists almost every night. Paintings by skilled artist like Kristyna Šraierová and others from the group around 3 Kurátorky on walls. Nice drinks and street-food. Oh and delicious coffee ☕️ all for decent prices (don’t accept cards).

This year they are in charge of public toilettes in the opposite building and I swear you can tell the difference. They really think of every detail. There is art on the toilettes too. And even the flower arrangements on tables are in up-cycled old purses 😍...

My friend took me to Burza #4, and from the moment we stepped in, the experience was a total blast. The vibe, the atmosphere—everything just hit right.

Beer? It’s okay. Like most places in Czech, nothing crazy, but it does the job Any IPA? The real story though? The burger.

Dude. 220 crowns for that burger? I was skeptical. Then I took a bite. And now? I’m still dreaming about it. Perfectly cooked, juicy, flavorful—whatever magic they’re doing back there, it works. That burger didn’t just hit the spot, it hit my soul.

Would I go back? In a heartbeat. And I’d pay that 220 again...
