I stayed two nights at Hotel Mucha and wouldn’t recommend it. The experience didn’t match the polished online photos, and although the rooms were clean and recently refurbished, the rest was disappointing.||||The hotel sits on a dirty, uncomfortable street that smells of urine and dog waste. The building’s facade is run-down and nothing like what you see online. It doesn’t feel safe, especially at night. Just walking a few hundred meters toward the city center, the atmosphere improves dramatically.||||Inside, the reception feels more like a forgotten back office—dark, outdated, no bar, no lounge, nowhere to sit. It’s not the experience you expect from a four-star hotel.||||Noise was a serious problem. Floors and doors echo, and my premium room was right next to the elevator shaft. The noise from it running late into the night and early in the morning made sleeping nearly impossible. On top of that, the building has no proper ventilation. The air turns stale quickly. If you open a window, you get either street noise or mosquito bites. I woke up covered in them after cracking the bathroom window. My friends had to sleep with the window open just to breathe.||||Tiny TV in my room, I needed binoculars !||||The shower had no thermostatic control—the water temperature constantly swung from hot to cold. And the room layout didn’t help either. Mine was long and narrow, with a tiny TV so far from the bed it was useless. A real disappointment.||||Breakfast is served in a basement tunnel where sound echoes aggressively. One morning I measured over 94 decibels—kids screaming, dishes clattering—it was more of an assault than a meal.||||To their credit, the staff offered to move us to another hotel, which quietly confirmed they were aware of the issues. I found much better options nearby with beautiful lounges, rooftop terraces, and quiet rooms at half the price.||||Despite clean rooms, Hotel Mucha fails across the board, It’s not a 4-star experience and was a mistake to book. I...
Read moreWe enjoyed our stay in this hotel ! The staff was nice and friendly. They can keep your room key during the day, and your luggage for free after checking out, if needed. You can also exchange your money here, the exchange rate is very interesting as they don't take any fees. (For real !) Our double deluxe room was spacious, and the bed was really comfy. Only 2 negative point : the curtains aren't opaque enough, and let the light in very early in the morning. And when the cleaning staff start making up the room (starting around 8h30) you can ear all the loud noises from the hallway (we even wondered if they were throwing the vacuum cleaner against the walls or in the stair, lmao.) Breakfast was great too, the buffet was refilled as soon as possible by the staff, at there was anything you could ask, weither you prefer having sweet or savory breakfast. Also the food wasn't the same everyday. + The vaulted ceiling of the room is really beautiful. I definitely recommend staying here for...
Read moreAfter reading a lot of rave reviews decided to stay here, the location is good, but the hearing is terrible, constantly sounds that interfere with sleep and rest, in the deluxe room was not slippers, so they did not bring them. Cleaning in the room is superficial, mirrors are dusty, and there are many different shortcomings. I asked the maid to wipe the mirror by the bed because there was a lot of dust there and it was flying down onto the bed, to which I was told ‘yes of course’, but when I came to the room the dust was still there. This is very unpleasant, unsanitary, the towels were not changed even once in 6 days, there are ants on the windowsill. Breakfast is meagre for a 4 star hotel, one kind of sweet pastry and three kinds of eggs for breakfast. The staff at the reception is attentive. But I do not...
