My girlfriend and I came all the way from Monaco specifically to visit this exhibition, expecting a peaceful evening enjoying beautiful jellyfish displays with some calming meditation music in the background that would complete our beautiful evening. Unfortunately, our visit was completely ruined by a loud, unruly boy running around, stomping and screaming like he owned the place. We—and I mean everyone around—politely asked him to calm down multiple times, but it made no difference. His mother then started yelling at a sweet girl (who couldn't be older than 15) nearby who didn’t deserve that at all. At one point, the mother even threatened to call the police on her for simply politely asking her son to calm down. Honestly, it was shocking and embarrassing for everyone involved. What made it worse was that there was a kids’ play area right next door—perfect for energetic children—but this family ignored it entirely. To top it off, there were no staff members around to help with the situation, no clear signs about keeping noise down, and a no re-entry policy that meant you couldn’t even leave to get help without losing your ticket. Not ideal. The exhibition itself was stunning, but the whole experience was spoiled by this disruption and poor management. My girlfriend and I were left shocked, flabbergasted, and angry by this experience. The mother used very condescending and disrespectful language toward the girl who clearly only tried to make the experience pleasurable for everyone attending, but nobody but us interfered. It completely ruined our evening, and when we think back on this event, we won’t remember the beautiful exhibits, but all the things that spoiled it. It leaves a bitter taste...

I was under the impression that there would be a more zoological approach to this establishment. Indeed, there are brief descriptions of the various species next to their respective tanks, but almost all of them are unreadable in the dark and all of the displayed creatures seem to be very young and small compared to the species descriptions. For example there is a tank of animals that are supposed to be 40cm in diameter but in reality they are 10x smaller. Overall there are no truly big ones which is a shame and goes against all advertising of the place.
What's perhaps worst about this place is either the small scale of it or the horribly misguided target audience. What do I mean by that?
On one hand, the main room is very dark and relaxing with deep zen music, which sharply contrasts with SCREAMING children running around EVERYWHERE. There is also a slide for the younglings which is cool but makes them all the more rabid. And makes no sense whatsoever in a place like this.
When you exit the main room, which is not much to look at, you are promised that "the exhibition continues!" next door. But when you enter, there's just an overpriced bar and a children's room with a lot of projectors on walls that you can tap with your hands.
One of the worse investments this year, but still adding one star for a few interesting looking animals. Sadly cannot recommend to anyone for 200CZK, for 1/4 of the price it would maybe start...
Read moreEdit After a year we went for another visit and there was a queue starting all the way from the mall exit. After waiting for 1 hour in the cold, it turned out there was only one ticket desk open, on a Saturday!!! The ticket prices have gone up without any upgrades inside to justify them and when we got upstairs at the trampoline playground, it was already dark and there were no lights whatsoever, apart from one sharp security light that would constantly turn on and off and the kids where struggling to play without constantly tripping and falling. Absolute nonsense. I'm changing my original review from 5 to 1 stars. A textbook example of how to ruin a nice idea/business. Edit
I don't understand the bad reviews. We went yesterday with our 2.5 year old and it was awesome. The jellyfish were really mesmerizing and the whole place had this ambient deep space/ocean vibe going (the music and the lack of people helped), at the same time the spiral slide really made it fun for the children as well. In the café, there's a kids corner, where they can color some jellyfish or spaceship drawings and then scan them onto the interactive video walls around and see their art come to life. There's also an outdoor terrace with a nice urban view towards the sunset and the surrounding buildings. Finally, on the roof there is a jellyfish themed playground with trampolines and a water spray. Seriously, what else do you need for a nice...
