Halvandet — Attraction in Copenhagen Municipality

Saturday parties are strange to say the least. Bouncers were not overly friendly, but than again - we all can have a bad day. Yet you leave the day behind as soon as you enter work mode. The DJ's... well last night the DJ only had a playlist of some free samples because no song lasted more than 30 seconds. Plus he was trying to sing along, and that was simply horrible. I hope the dude has another day job, because he will not make a career in this field. Not my first time at halvandet on a Saturday so I am not sure which DJ is worst. The one yesterday or those they had in the past playing same boom boom over and over again. And what's with that orange booth taking cash only in a country with no usage of cash? Is this tax free for them? That's a very annoying thing that orange booth. Over all, halvandet is OK for a drink and eat, but as a party, horrible place. And fix the toilets! dirty,...

Visit only on sunny summer days!

This out-door bar and hang-out is really extraordinary once we go summer time and have sunny days in Copenhagen. The beers, cocktails and burgers are really worth the trip to Refshaleøen. They play chill, house music and the mood is very light. The view across the harbour to Copenhagen is beautiful and a must see!

Since it's placed far away expect to use at least 3 - 5 hours on the "experience" at minimum.

You can take a dive in the harbour, so bring your bikinis and shorts. Nothing beats taking a dive and coming back up for a cold beer :)

We got married at this venue 2 weeks ago. All I can say is it was the best day of my life and the Halvandet team made that possible. Lonnie was a joy and nothing was ever a problem. We had people coming from all over the world and everyone absolutely loved it. The staff were phenomenal and very welcoming, the food was fantastic and the drinks never stopped flowing.
