Hidden gem in the Reffen streetfood market. I tried the Kabuli Palau - as an Afghan I can say that it's delicious and authentic. Next time I'm looking forward to trying the Banjan Borani. It's great that you can finally find Afghan food in Copenhagen - it would be nice to get a little more rice, in my opinion. And for vegetarians, maybe they could include roasted tomatoes/a salad instead of the meat (for Kabuli Palau)
Unfortunately, Reffen doesn't allow vendors to sell drinks (I guess they want to keep a monopoly with their expensive & boring bar) otherwise I would love to try some Afghan Pink...
Read more4/5 The Qabili Palow was really good, the dish itself is often really good so naturally it isn’t hard to mess up. With that in mind I thought it could have been richer in flavors and spices. Overall the meat, carrots, raisins and the rice all tasted great but it could have been more.
