Nordic Hotdog — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

My husband had heard so much about the pork roast sandwich, so he decided to order one without knowing what to expect. I was lined up at a taco place, so I couldn’t guide him. The end result was that my husband returned with a sandwich that he found tasteless, with an overly cooked pork loin cutlet not the crispy pork that he was expecting. It was packaged pork rinds with an apple slice in the middle.

My husband took three bites of it and when I looked at the sandwich, I realized he hadn’t gotten what we (as a native Dane)consider an authentic pork roast sandwich. My husband went to complain and get the money back and was told to “fork off”

I went to the vendor and told him that his service and product is a misinterpretation to the country and Danes. That was NOT what we consider as an authentic pork roast sandwich. The vendor chose to call security only because his reputation was exposed to people standing outside, not because of an altercation. He refused to give a refund and while he had the sandwich in his hand, we told him to throw it out, with only three bites taken. If I could give zero stars, I would...

I never thought I would see a day that I gave a Hotdog a 5 star rating...seriously folks...ITS A HOT DOG...!!! But here we are...the coveted 5 star rating...best of the best.. After eating Hot Dogs in Iceland, Norway and Sweden....this little spot in Ra8ffen Denmark wins the prize!!! The dog was great, great flavor, a tiny bit of spice. Fresh soft bun. Toppings piled high and a nice amount of each. One topping did not cover the other. And for the price, well worth it. Get there early cause the line builds fast. But they are pretty quick with your order. Best Hot dog you might...

When visiting Copenhagen, it is a must to try at least a few hotdogs which are very popular there. One of those I chose was Nordic Hotdog at the Reffen Street Food market. I went for the classic option – the Danish hotdog. It was really tasty with fresh ingredients and a crispy bun. Additionally, the service was very nice and they took into account my request to modify the recipe a little bit despite an extremely busy time, which is a plus. I recommend this spot...
