UPDATE! November 24th: I am dissatisfied with Laundromat Cafe. I ordered the Elvis pancakes that I had raved about months ago and was met with something black and green on the edge of one of my pancakes. Inspecting it and then sending it back, I got a remake of the dish, only for my bacon to look unappetising and black. I received my money for the dish and credit to the waitress for taking care of me but that alone will not be a reason that I will am back. Picture of the issues are attached.
September 15th : Had breakfast here yesterday with my mom and ordered the Elvis pancakes and chocolate shake (after she told me where to get a menu, since which weren’t very easy to find) My chocolate shake was decently quick to arrive and not to sugary/ sweet, with chopped up chocolate in it which I liked it. The pancakes were very nice, a sort of doughy, fall-apart texture and stacked up high. One of them was a little burnt and that made it unpleasantly chewy.
But overall, I really enjoyed the meal and the vibe of the restaurant, it’s really...
Read moreDespite the cafe format and appearance, this is actually the place I've had the best steak of my life. And I've had expensive steaks. Their steak is very reasonably priced. Their burger is also great, maybe a bit small for me. Fish and chips are mediocre at best if you've had the real deal in Ireland, but few places in Denmark serve proper fish & chips and Laundromat is the best I've had so far (I'm always looking for good fish & chips). Overall great experiences are had here. They are /very/ kid friendly with a play area and also openly stating their support for breastfeeding on the premises as far as I remember (could be wrong). They have well above average options for vegetarians. I recommend trying their steak and I frequently get the burger. I haven't tried their breakfast options but there are quite a few of these too. They make great smoothies too. Everything is...
Read moreJust had an amazing lunch here today! Maybe the most kid friendly place to go, a substantial play area with tons of great toys. Great variety on the menu, and kids portions available. Great beer, coffee, as well as sweet treats (the brownie was excellent!). We were there for a late lunch after a great time at the playground, but most of the families appear to be stopping for an after school treat. It was a great experience, and you can wash a load of laundry if you're visiting from out of town! The one closer to our house in Frederiksberg appears to be closed, so we'll have to come out here to enjoy it - but the park and the restaurant make it worth it. Plus the new metro line (stop only a few blocks away) made it super easy...
