باب النصر

نبذة تاريخية باب النصر هو واحد من الأبواب التاريخية الشهيرة لمدينة القاهرة، العاصمة المصرية. يُعد جزءًا من أسوار القاهرة التي بُنيت لحماية المدينة من الغزوات الخارجية. بُني باب النصر في عهد الفاطميين، وتحديدًا في عام 1087م، في فترة حكم الخليفة الفاطمي المستنصر بالله، وهو من تصميم المهندس المعماري بدر الجمالي.

الموقع والهيكل يقع باب النصر في الجهة الشمالية من القاهرة، بجوار باب الفتوح، على امتداد شارع المعز لدين الله. الباب عبارة عن هيكل ضخم مبني من الحجر، ويتميز بتصميمه المعماري الفريد والزخارف الجميلة التي تعكس الفنون الإسلامية في ذلك العصر. يتميز الباب ببرجين كبيرين متينين يحيطان به، وهما مزودان بفتحات للرماة للدفاع عن المدينة.
