Merryland Park — Attraction in Cairo

I take a taxi and go! what I see is the park is closed! I arrived at 1 pm. Google shows it works. at the box office at the main entrance, the gates are closed. try number two in a few days. I'm coming. the park is closed. I'm writing a question on google maps. and I get an answer - the park is working!!! (there is no chapel for my compensation! I am standing in front of the closed gate, and they are trying to tell me that I am wrong !!! Terrible irresponsible attitude towards residents and guests! I get another answer: - there are a lot of cafes open !! company executives, are you kidding me?! the territory of the cafe, one cafe is working, the rest is in the process of completing repairs! (workers located there), when asked about the opening, fell with their shoulders! and answered - Madame Park does not work! it's closed! Yes, there are shady trees around the park, this is Heliopolis, there are many of them! and photos from the street, not the park. I will definitely look forward to the opening. but even now, through the closed gates, it is clear that the owner of the park installed gazebos, benches, but did not put the old trees in order, at any time, these branches can fall and cause you problems! dry old twigs, rubbish and a rude answer about park work! photos taken from the street! I couldn't get into the park....

So sad, they turned this place that used to be virgin and natural into a commercial, cheap, filthy, stifling money machine, full of junk.... You pay EGP 40 at the entrance at weekends, and you pay EGP 30 per game of wrecked amusement swings. Poor animals are caged in awful cages in a horrible condition. The restaurants part by the so-called fountain turned from beautiful gardened green park to ugly concrete area that is too dusty and is a desperate need of cleaning. It is called Merryland Park for one!!!! Where is the park!!!! It should stay as a park, green and full of trees instead of ugly concrete with no pond full of swans and peddle boats for guests to enjoy.

Ugly concrete with ugly cafes and restaurants. Overpriced with nothing to do. Just nothing.... but a painful experience from A to Z.
