I do NOT recommend visiting any of these. Really just taking your money. If u want to REALLY visit these, pay 10 $/€ the man that came towards you after u came out from taxi. He will take you to souvenir and herbs/tea shop, or some clothes shops. If u ask he might also take you to mosque.
Here u have some tips that I learned from my visit.:: Do NOT pay in dollars on in euro, just Egyptian pound. Always negotiate price, u have to be assertive and strict with them. If they still force you: Tell that u are going to tourist police for forcing and assault. Do NOT trust any uber: while ride they call their friends, they drop you off by them and then you are forced to buy stuff u dont need, otherwise they will block the entry. Always stay with your group, and especially as woman, do not leave alone. Nights aren't safe even with men there.
U better visit some big main street, by the sea or port or where are a lot of tourist near McDonalds on google maps. Dont go in small areas that have "a lot of...
Read moreAs one of main tourist destinations in Hurgada city It's not worth time. This place is not advisable to visit by women going there alone. District is very dirty and poor. Before visiting everyone must research prices for the goods you want to buy. In general tourist there is a walking wallet and nothing else. Locals will fool you without blink an eye and changing welcoming smile. In many cases prices are inflated 5-15 times (especialy spices, perfume and essential oils). You must know how to haggle with locals. Never show your hotel bracelet as it is identifier of your wealth. However, if you master rules of the game it can be a great place to acquire some good items. Be aware that some items such as oils are often diluted by glycerine or replaced by cheaper analogs. I would not recommend to visit...
Read moreA place full of life and chaos best visited after sunset. You can find everything here, from bracelets to live chickens and rabbits. If it’s your first time, I highly recommend having a local guide. We were lucky that our taxi (White Shark) took us to Kauland Center 2, where we met Mostafa (IG @mostafa_x9) - a young guy full of positive energy who showed us around the hidden corners of the bazaar and to the mosque, the Coptic Christian church, and through little alleys you’d never find on your own. I think without him we wouldn’t have been able to walk through the bazaar calmly on our first visit. He speaks good English, and his service is reasonably priced. Note: hotels “city tour” offers don’t include a visit to the bazaar, but if you take a taxi to see Mustafa, you’ll get to experience...
