we visited this place as part of a Hurghada city tour. I’m guessing this is the only way to get any foot traffic. This was the only part of my trip I found truly depressing. The condition of the “aquarium” (I say this loosely) was extremely poor. Fish looked very stressed in tanks that were far too small. Dead fish left in tanks. Dead anemone and coral. It was just appalling. It was so uncomfortable to see the lack of care, especially when you know they were a stones throw away from a thriving sea, that I left very quickly. The children found it stressful also. I know aquariums offer those not so keen on getting in the sea the ability to see the beautiful fish of the Red Sea, but this is not the place to do it. If the owners or officials running this are reviewing, please consider either shutting this down or improving the conditions. I am certain you can make this a much more pleasant experience for the tourists and the fish! The beauty of your wide life is so much...
Read moreI don't normally review experiences - good or bad - however I feel compelled to mention this experience after taking my family there as part of a tour of Hurghada. I am struggling to think of a time when I have experienced such a depressing 'attraction'. Staff seemed much more interested in Facebook than their visitors. The equipment, maintenance and animal welfare standards on display here were frankly shocking. Our experience can be summed up with two facts..... I paid extra to have the privilege of being able to photograph. I took zero shots as it felt inappropriate photographing animals in such a condition. One of my youngest children, who normally loves these types of attraction, immediately said "Daddy, can we go please. This is too sad"
On a positive note - there is tremendous room for...
Read moreI was extremely disappointed with the place, it’s very expensive as we had to pay $33 per person even the ten years old boy, for nothing. I mean almost nothing. We didn’t see but few normal animals and few tanks of poor fish exhibit. The only somehow good show area for the fish tank was closed for their own photography business and don’t allow us to get close or take pictures in our own mobiles. The only good area was the turtle house. Doesn’t worth the trip or the money paid. It should be much more advanced specially with the extreme high ticket price. And being in the Red Sea reserved area. You should show that beauty, I think you need to work more in developing that area and reduce the...
