El Geisum Village — Hotel in Red Sea

If you want to be cheated and have a bad stay, go to this hotel! Upon arrival I was greeted by a receptionist who didn't even say hello. He also speaks very bad English. Example: he asked me if I wanted to bay? I didn't understand what he wanted and asked him again. He sarcastically slapped me in the face as if I didn't know English and repeated,, do you want to bay? ,, Then I realized that he actually wanted to ask if I wanted to pay!When I got to the room I was totally disappointed. The bathroom was not clean, the bathroom mirror hadn't been cleaned for at least a year, the shower head was broken, the entrance door was very difficult to close and open with the key, only with force, considering that it was very old, the view from the balcony was almost zero, only if you stood on your toes you had a view of the sea. There was no internet, only at the reception, so the information on the page is false. I went back to the reception complaining to the same receptionist about the concrete facts found and my dissatisfaction, he laughed at me. I told him to come and close the door with the key because I couldn't do it. He came with me and he personally tried to close the door with the key and he couldn't. To my amazement he told me that in fact I didn't even have to close it with the key because even without the key the door wouldn't open! But the door, even when opened with the key, was impossible only by force.Finally, complaining about the other dissatisfactions, I asked him to give me another room even if I had to pay the difference. Hetold me that it was not possible and with that he turned his back on me, having fun at my expense with the security guard at the entrance at my expense. At the hotel beach in the back of everything, where you can buy water, coffee etc, the staff are some cheats. They abuse the fact that not all tourists know the value of Egyptian money. They allowed me to stay on the beach only after I paid 100 Egyptian Pounds. I asked for a bottle of water.I paid 200 Egyptian pounds for water and the beach without receiving the change.Later I found out that they cheated shamelessly.Even before I left, the shower was not repaired. I'm glad I only stayed there for three days, it was simply unpleasant, no internet, no cleaning, with thieving staff on the main road, shameless receptionist, no internet and so on. Just the location of the hotel was good and The breakfast and the staff in the dining...

I booked a Full Board stay, but the experience was extremely disappointing. The swimming pool was dirty, uncleaned, and honestly disgusting. The beach was full of sharp rocks, making it very uncomfortable to walk barefoot—let alone swim. Room conditions were average: the AC was okay, but no shampoo was provided, only a single small bar of soap for the entire stay. There’s no control over beach access—outsiders can come in freely as there’s no sign or staff checking. As for the food, it was very repetitive and boring. Lunch and dinner were nearly identical every day— chicken, or meat with bland boiled vegetables and plain rice or pasta. Dinner always featured fish with rice, and there were no other options. Desserts were poor, usually just dry cake, grapes, overly sweet basbousa, and badly made jelly. One of the worst parts: we were charged 500 EGP for a towel that simply got dirty, even though we returned it. They claimed it was "damaged" and refused to give it back. Even worse, the housekeeping guy took another towel from our room without asking, and no one followed up or clarified anything—not until checkout. Honestly, the whole stay felt more like a punishment than a vacation. Definitely not...

For a 3 star hotel it is just great. A bit old and warn but it just has a great atmosphere and feel that you are in Egypt. Amazing location at the sea with the possibility too get direct in the deep water, ore walk in low water if you like. Lots of sunbeds in different settings so you have plenty of space. Nice rooms with good beds and nice touch is you get a high and a low pillow and we all know how important it is the pillow soothes you. Wonderful breakfast. So for a small price you get it all. And you don't get anybody trying too sell you treatment in the spa and trips you are just left alone to enjoy the the sea. Best...
