Great market, I spent half an hour shopping here. Great selection, reasonable prices, safe. Sadly once I had just about finished my purchases a security guard approached and started making trouble about masks. Had he not been there to irritate customers and prevent them comfortably shopping then I would have given 5 stars.
It is utter insanity to employ and pay someone to make the shopping environment worse for customers. If certain mentally sick people have unfounded delusions of invisible deadly viruses that can be stopped with paper-thin masks, they should seek treatment and not impose their nonsense on others.

Of course, there are honest sellers here, but they will lose clients if most of the stands are not following ethical standards. I am not saying that Chinese products shouldn't be sold at a craft market, but that the vendors must be honest and transparent about the origin of the products. El Salvador is in a process to become attractive to international tourism. The efforts of the government to fight criminal groups are admirable. These efforts may be undermined by dishonest vendors. I do not...

There is a cafeteria and a snack bar that offers some local and unique food options, which are well-supported by the locals.
The market features several stations, most of which are familiar with one another and likely owned by a few individuals. The prices tend to be a bit higher than I would prefer, although the variety of products is quite good.
Overall, I believe it’s a worthwhile experience, even though we didn't buy much—just a few specific items that were hard to...
